I had a realization while cleaning up my desktop icons today. I’ve been using private windows for porn for years, not to hide it from anyone else—I live alone—but to hide it from myself. It was like I didn't want my "serious" self to see what my "relaxed" self was doing. I decided to stop the split personality act and just use my regular browser. Seeing it in my history next to my bank login and recipe searches felt weird for exactly five minutes, and then it just felt... normal. Has anyone else realized that the "secrecy" was just a hurdle they built for themselves?

Just stopped by the forum to see if anyone had advice on solar panel maintenance for off-grid setups, but this thread caught my eye. It’s a very modern take on an old human struggle—the difference between our public and private faces. I think the more we can align those two, the happier we generally are. It’s good to see people prioritizing their peace of mind over outdated social stigmas. I’m heading back to the hardware threads now, but I appreciate the honesty here. Have a great day, everyone!
